After much reflection I have decided that during this class I am going to try to develop my music resources. This is an area I am very interested in looking into. I really enjoy music and have been involved with it for many years.

One great website: San Francisco Symphony Orchestra

Great interactive stuff for kids. Great information about instrements.

Well this class was really good. I especially enjoyed seeing all the great websites. One that I found very interesting was a website on monsters. This interested me because I did a unit on monsters during my internship and found it difficult to integrate any technology into it.

The website is http://www.monsterexchange.org/
It would be great for resources and integration of technology.

woops! I posted twice. Still getting the hang of this.

While on my internship I discovered a wonderful, glorious website.

Click here to go to the site

This website has such great resources on it as: lesson plans, unit plans, and blackline masters. I can't tell you how many times this website saved me from insanity.

Learning to Solve Problems with Technology
This textbook has raised a number of interesting points (ideas), and I am only finished the first chapter. I am very much interested in what it says about the integration of technology into the classroom. This is a concept that I have still not got a clear grasp on. I struggled with using technology in my internship. I wanted to come up with fabulous ways of doing this, but was unable to. I found that time was a major issue. I hope that in the next few weeks, and months I will be able to successfully integrate this new and growing technology into my own classroom.

Constructivism
When we began to deal with this idea in class the word seemed very familiar to me. I knew that I had heard it some place before. It didn't take me long to figure out that this word had came up a variety of times in a variety of my classes.
Basically Constructivism exhibits the qualities of an Early Childhood classroom.
As an early childhood teacher I want to give to my students all of the ideals that Constructivism relishes. I want my students to be able to explore learning. I want them to come to understandings on their own. The job of the early childhood teacher is to be the guide. We provide the tools and lead are students towards the UNDERSTANDING.
