Well October is here, and it is getting colder. Just a reminder to send your kids to school with mittens and a hat (it can be cold at recess).
We have been very busy with our writing and reading programs. The grade 3's and 2's are concentrating on good sentence structure. We are reading very well! Keep up the great work!
In Math we are all starting new units on number realationships. The grade 1's will be working with numbers to 20. The grade 2's will be working with numbers to 50. The grade 3's will be working on numbers to 1000. Please continue practicing counting. (Grade 1- by 5's and 10's, Grade 2- by 2's and 3's, and Grade 3- by 7's and 8's)
We have been talking about communities. Can you name 3 things that are the same about Moose Jaw and Briercrest? Can you name 3 things that are different about Moose Jaw and Briercrest?
